Rock County Christian School glorifies God by partnering with parents and churches to equip students to thrive spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
Rock County Christian School exists as a coeducational college preparatory day school that encompasses preschool through 12th grade. The school is operated by a nonprofit, interdenominational, evangelical Christian parent support organization and governed by an elected school board.
One of the objectives of our school it to promote spiritual maturity in our student body. One means of accomplishing this goal is to offer missions and service opportunities.

RCCS MISSIONS TRIP 2010
PLACE: Costa Rica, Central America
DATE: June 6-16, 2010
OBJECTIVES:
- Grow closer to God and one another
- Develop an appreciation and understanding of foreign missions
- Serve other believers
- Evangelize with other believers
- Learn to appreciate a different culture, customs, language
- Learn more about Gods creation
- Have fun
CALENDAR:
Sept-May
- mandatory monthly meetings to pray, plan, and practice
- raise support of $1000 per person ($500 by December)
- team fundraisers
- enlist at least 5 prayer supporters per person
June —the actual trip
- manual labor at a local church (we work hard!)
- evangelism in teams with Costa Rican believers (step out of comfort zone!)
- sightseeing—beach, tropical rain forest, San Jose, volcano (educational fun!)
- sharing in a local church (testimonies, songs, drama); kids club & youth group
- spend a night with a Costa Rican family
Post-trip
- share lessons learned with team
- share in chapel and your local church
REQUIREMENTS:
- A servants heart
- Permission/Participation sheet signed by parents
- Written Christian testimony (application form)
- Participate in all 9 mandatory meetings
- Raise support (prayer & financial)
- Help with all team fundraisers
- Demonstration of a basic sufficiency in Spanish
